Red betel leaf is one of the plants that is known to be efficacious as an antiseptic and disinfectant. Bethel red essential oil is extracted from the leaves of the red vine through a steam distillation process. The extract is a clear red to yellow to dark brown liquid and has a sweet balsamic aroma.
