Our Citronella is made from citronella leaves grown on areas in Indonesia with variety Mahapengiri citronella seeds and the latin name is Cymbopogon winterianus. Citronella is one of the best essential oils for repelling mosquitoes and is a great choice for the outdoors. This oil is extracted through the steam distillation method. Cymbopogon winterianus better known as lemongrass or lemongrass or citronella grass is a type of grass from the order Gramiales which is typical of tropical areas of Asia. C. winterianus is perennial (always growing all year round).
