Description:

Eucalyptus globulus has been found to be an anesthetic, antiseptic, deodorant, astringent, disinfectant, expectorant, inhalation, insect repellent, rubefacient remover, and anthelmintic. Its empirical properties are rheumatic drugs, asthma, bronchitis, fever, colds and treating wounds. Eucalyptus globulus is also used as soap and various cosmetic products. Eucalyptus oil extracted through steam distillation from the leaves and twigs (either dry or fresh) of the Eucalyptus plant, eucalyptus oil carries the strong menthol aroma that is commonly associated with household remedies such as VapoRub, which use the oil as one of its main ingredients.
