Citrus sinensis (L.) is one of the most studied plants in the Rutaceae family. C. sinensis is a popular and commonly used ingredient in Traditional Chinese Medicine by extracting it from the skin, unripe fruit, ripe fruit, flowers, and other tissues. This plant is known for various activities such as antioxidant, antibacterial, antidiabetic, antifungal. There are many variations of citrus essential oil or oils derived from different parts of the orange tree, native to China, and similar species.
We obtained C. sinensis essential oil from the extraction of sweet orange rind using the cold pressed method. The resulting oil is yellow to orange in color. Sweet Orange Essential Oil is traditionally used in massage as an agent that effectively relieves stress, stomach pain, diarrhea, constipation, indigestion or improper digestion, and stuffy nose or organs such as the liver.
