Description:
Cymbopogon martinii is native to India and Indochina, but is widely cultivated in many places for its aromatic essential oil. Known as Palmarosa, this plant has other names: Indian geranium, ginger grass, rosha, and rosha grass. Moreover, therapeutic applications are generally used as a condiment and food preservative. In ayurvedic medicine it is used to treat skin problems and relieve pain. Palmarosa oil is obtained from the extraction of palmarosa grass by the steam distillation method, the oil is pale yellow to light yellow and has a distinctive aroma.
